Located directly in the middle of the Sir Francis Drake Passage, Cooper Island is often a stop on the way home from Virgin Gorda. Like most islands in the Caribbean it has some unique characteristics that set it apart from its neighbors. Cooper Island is actually a resort with about ten holiday houses, a restaurant, and an extensive dive operation. Don’t ask for a blended smoothie drink when we stop for lunch, they kill the power during the day so that they can run the lights at night!
