Located directly in the middle of the Sir Francis Drake Passage, Cooper Island is often a stop on the way home from Virgin Gorda. Like most islands in the Caribbean it has some unique characteristics that set it apart from its neighbors. Cooper Island is actually a resort with about ten holiday houses, a restaurant, and an extensive dive operation. Don’t ask for a blended smoothie drink when we stop for lunch, they kill the power during the day so that they can run the lights at night! The operation is owned by one family and they truly understand

what it means to take care of the visitors that decide to tie up to their dock for lunch.
